Do you love books? Captivating romance stories? How about swoony heroes and loveable heroines? 

Well, so do I. My name is Kelli Kornelsen and I write contemporary Christian love stories filled with hope and faith. 

I would not have described myself as a romantic person. At least, not until my mother-in-law called out from her doorstep one evening as I was leaving, “We love romance.” Her comment, laced with laughter, came on the heels of discussing the difference between us and our husbands. Surprised she noticed something in me I hadn’t, I realized she was right. I love romance. 

The thought of heart-shaped candies and the whisper of sweet nothings never fail to make my heart flutter, but real love is so much more.

Love is a choice.

And sometimes we have to ignore our feelings to chose love over anger, forgiveness over hurt. I believe Jesus showed us this perfect example of love two thousand years ago.
